UX.Expert (“we”, “us”) provides web-based UX research tools at ux.expert. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how we protect it, and your choices.

Information you provide

  • Account info (Google user data): If you log in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address.
  • Content: Files and text you upload or generate in the app (for example interview notes, project/study names, prompts, and outputs).
  • Local uploads: Research files are uploaded from your device and processed in the app.

How we use information

  • To provide app functionality (projects, studies, analysis, and downloads).
  • To operate and secure the service (fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring).
  • To communicate with you about the service if you contact us.

How we use Google user data

  • We use Google user data only to provide or improve UX.Expert features you request (for example authentication and account experience).
  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, data brokering, or profiling.

How we share information

  • Service providers: We share information with vendors who help us operate the service (for example hosting and analytics).
  • AI processing: When you request AI features, relevant content is sent to our AI service provider to generate results.
  • Legal: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.

Third-party services

  • Authentication: Login is handled by a third-party identity provider.
  • AI processing: When you request AI features, relevant content is sent to our AI service provider to generate results.
  • Hosting/storage: Uploaded and generated project files are stored on UX.Expert servers for app functionality.

Data protection

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information, such as access controls and encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to operate your projects and provide the service. We may also retain server logs for security and reliability. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us; we will delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Your choices

  • You can use the app as a guest for limited features, or log in for full features.
  • You can choose what files to upload and can download generated outputs from the app.
  • You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
